Firm Background

Photo of Lincoln statuePratt & Tobin has an established history of successfully fighting for the right of railroad employees.

Paul Pratt founded the law firm on the belief that injured workers deserve the best representation and receive the largest judgment or settlement for their injury. Pratt opened his first firm in 1964. He had a reputation as an aggressive and pugnacious fighter for working men and women was already established and he was sought out by past clients and their associates to represent them in FELA cases. The course Pratt would pursue over the next three decades would make him a pioneer in the area of FELA law. Pratt was a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, a select group of only 100 attorneys nationwide who have received verdicts of over $1 million and taken more than 100 cases to verdict.
